The last episode of Roadies 5.0 was indeed a shocker. After all the tasks were completed by the other Roadies, Shambhavi and Vibhor had to get slapped by Nihal and Ashu as per the task. At first Raghu and Rannvijay thought Ashu wouldn’t slap her, and even if he did, it wouldn’t be too hard. But when his turn came, he slapped her with such intensity and force that her cheek almost tore apart. Everyone on the show was too shocked to react but Shambhavi took it as a sport even though it hurt like hell. On the other hand, Raghu was extremely pissed off and wanted to beat up Ashu for slapping her so hard.

Raghu Ram admitted, “That was really bad. I regret that episode. We were all taken aback when it happened. We allowed the finalists to pick their teams for their final task and then interchanged the teams. The idea was to give them team members who would not be willing to do anything for them, and therefore make things difficult for them. But the contestants agreed to do the tasks. When Rannvijay and I heard Shambhavi volunteer, we were hoping she’d back out but she didn’t. We stopped the shoot and discussed if we should discourage her, or tell Ashu to go easy on the girl but we didn’t want Nihal to feel we were being partial. We make it a point to never interfere or even bring our likes and dislikes on the show. Still, after the person from Nihal’s team got the first slap, Rannvijay made a comment to discourage Shambhavi but she still went ahead. After he slapped her, we wanted to beat him up. The crew lambasted him. In fact he didn’t enjoy the after-party in Malaysia. He spent it in isolation. He wanted to go home as no one wanted to talk to him. He later apologised to her. And we gave Shambhavi the chance to slap him and Nihal.”

Its sad how things turned out right at the end of the show when everything was going just fine. I don’t think Shambhavi would ever call Ashu her brother henceforth, like how she did on the show.

Ok so I’ll admit I was highly impressed when Abhishek Bachchan sang and even attempted to rap in Bluffmaster. Then I read that Nana Patekar was planning on singing a song dedicated to a truck in his upcoming movie ‘Horn Ok Please’. Gone are the days where actors and actresses lip synched for the mandatory item songs. John Abraham is the latest to join this list. For the Nagesh Kukunoor film ‘Aashayein‘, he belted out a song ‘Abhi Hai Ujala’. I’m surprised there was no crazed fan who tried to scratch John ( there’s a reason I wasn’t invited.)!

Now… I wasn’t at this music launch so I really can’t vouch for the man’s singing abilities but I have heard the man sing along to the music at the gym and all I can say is, Himesh you have nothing to worry about. Of course John Abraham does deserve some credit; I mean he sang in front of Shankar Mahadevan, Salim and Suleiman. These men make music for a living!

Bipasha was conspiciously missing from this grand gala. I guess she didn’t want to see him make a fool of himself. But from the pictures it looks like John was clearly getting into ‘Performer’ mode and did a little ‘It’s the time to disco’ dancing.

Sonal Sehgal was there to make up for Bips’ lost glam quotient. John clearly put his best effort in this performance and gave the audience just what they wanted… a heart felt performance.

Looks like it’s love in the air for Bollywood. Just look at the number of celeb couples around !

Firstly, there’s the reigning star couple-AbhiAsh. Going by some recent pictures it seems they are bonding better one year after marriage. Look how Aishwarya tenderly rests her head on hubby Abhishek’s shoulder… makes you go “Awww!” doesn’t it ? So far we thought she’s more gaga over Big B than his son!

Then there’s debutante Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra, who in a recent interview came out publicly with their relationship. Good move! Now that will bring you guys some more publicity for their already over hyped Love Story 2050!

Meanwhile,the media shy duo Soha Ali Khan and southern star Siddarth are treading choppy waters. Sid, it seems is displeased with the hot photoshoot the Pataudi girl did for Maxim. Frankly I really don’t know what the f*#k he’s pissed about… dude your girl made it to the cover of Maxim, be proud man… be very proud!

Then of course how can we forget, Saif and Kareena. This is one couple that’ll be hogging the limelight for ages to come! After all it takes a long time for a tattoo to fade away

Giving them competition for news space will be the ‘almost engaged couple’ Ranbir and Deepika. I don’t have too many hopes pinned on this one… mark my words… in a few months, they’re gonna go bust!

Then there are Bipasha-John and Sallu- Katrina. Since they’re doing nothing newsworthy nowadays, I have nothing to say about them. Just wish them luck maybe…

- Dont talk about sports! Unless of course you want to discuss how hot Yuvraj’s new look is or what a big bat Dhoni has

- Dont say things like “is that a pen in you pocket?”

- NEVER stare at her chest and what’s worse, never ask ‘are those real?’

- Encourage her to eat salad

- If you’re going shopping, take her to roop kala and not park avenue

Hmmmmmm…. ‘The return of Piggy Chops’ would be a more apt title or even ‘The new Hrithik on the block’. Love Story 2050, the latest Pammi and Harry Baweja movie is being used as the launch vehicle for son Harman’s debut. This being a family affair, I’m sure they’ve put in their best effort and left no stone unturned whether it came to casting the best, or finding the best special effects. From the preview images we’ve received of this movie, along with it’s sets, looks like a weird combination of Back to the Future and I-Robot.

Priyanka and Harman’s futuristic look scares me a bit.What the hell is up with those weird skin tight costumes and blazing red hair? I’m not even going to comment on how Harman’s look and dancing in the movie is a complete rip off of Hrithik Roshan. I’ll let the pictures and promos speak for themselves.

The sets though are f*#king brilliant!. Take a look at the pics… if not the plot or Priyanka., the sets and special effects are definitely worth taking a look at in this film.

The movie will be releasing alongwith Jaane Tu Ya Jaane na, which stars Aamir’s nephew Imraan. There was huge spat earlier when Harry Baweja requested Aamir to postpone his release but Aamir bluntly refused.

Yup! The shirtless superstar is in the news again. This time it was Mahek Chahal (Nayee Padosan..no? Didn’t get it? Ok… Sajne Ve Sajna fame)

Apparently Salman has being going around bragging about Mahek’s work and trying to get her a job in big banner films. To begin with, he apparently got her an item number in a leading forthcoming movie.

This speculation has just come in less than two months since his linkup with Brazilian model the super hot Bruna Abdullah. It’s a known fact that Salman has helped his girlfriend Katrina Kaif get a few film offers and get to where she is today. So it’s really not a surprise to hear about this incident.

Saif however tried to resolve the issue many a times and also asked Rani to join him and Kareena in Bangkok to go shopping and sightseeing. Bebo visited Saif to spend some time with him, but Rani Mukherji refused to accompany the much- in- love couple for any outing. Looks like she’s not interested in making peace with the chotte nawab!

Yes its true! Roadies 5.0 winner Ashutosh is in love with Sonel, the dumb model from Delhi. In one of the episodes of Roadies this year, Sonel was dared to propose to Ashu just for fun. It looks like the village boy took it seriously and actually fell head over heels in lurrve with this long haired lady who didn’t even know the name of the President of India!

If you guys watched the show, there were clear sparks flying when both of them were around each other and Ashu definitely got lucky with Sonel’s magical presence. It seems that the couple cannot get enough of each other ever since the show ended and the reason Ashu didn’t give a Karizma to her was because he wanted her to ride behind him (*wink wink*).

From sources it seems that he has already made plans to tell his parents about their growing romance and will get married to Sonel once he becomes an actor in Bollywood. Just a thought- What if he does become an actor? Who the hell will understand a word of what he speaks?! And his atrocious dancing can make even Sunny Deol feel like Michael Jackson! Sonel toh is anyway thoda neurotic (remember the lion growling act at the auditions?)
