Nauman Sait is the new Roadie! *trumpets* Before you get too excited, let me just tell you, he’s not such a hero after all. He admitted that most of it was luck by chance. If you remember during the auditions, he had come with his twin brother Salman, and Raghu probably felt (considering the fact that he’s also a twin), that Naumi should be given a chance. And so he started his journey with Roadies 6.0.

After being voted out, Naumi came back with the help of a wild card round and this time, gave his best shot and went to Australia and beat Kiri in the final task which was his way towards victory. Today, at the age of 21, he is a proud owner of a Hero Honda Karizma, Rs.3,62,000 and the winner of Roadies 6.0 and he desires nothing less than to be in Rannvijay’s shoes.

Nauman Sait has a cricketer’s background which proved to be an advantage to him over his competitors. He’s decided to use the money that he’s won wisely and the future looks good. Since his inspiration is Rannvijay, he also hopes to host a show like him. But who knows, we might just see him struggle his way into reality shows like ex-Roadie Ashutosh Kaushik.So… let’s just hope for the best!

It seems the relationship between Bollywood’s young heart throb couple is going through tough times. But being the good actors that they are, they are not making it visible on their cute faces. We are talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone

Last week Deepika Padukone for going to Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani’s birthday party at late night.

Since she got stuck due to her work commitments (shooting of Excel Entertainment’s Kartik Calling Kartik), Ranbir told her he would go alone to the party. But despite telling her so, he didn’t go their.

Instead he chose to attend another party that had his debut film Saawariya heroine Sonam Kapoor and her good friend Kunal Kapoor. He didn’t tell this to Deepika who was well under the impression for days that he was at Tarun’s party.

When Deepika came to know about Ranbir’s lie, it is learnt that she lambasted him over the phone while he kept giving her excuses such as how it was all a last minute change in his plan etc.

The Jaanbaaz actor Feroz Khan passed away at the age of 70 on Sunday night at his Bangalore farmhouse in the presence of family and friends. He had been suffering from Cancer since the past one year and finally gave in. He is survived by son Fardeen Khan and daughter-in-law Laila Khan.
He’s definitely left a place in our hearts and we’ll never forget his attitude towards love and life. Legends like him will only be remembered for years to come.

Mallika was married to a pilot, Karan Singh Gill, when she was still Reema Lamba (her real name). The actress has never spoken about her whirlwind marriage and subsequent divorce. After achieving stardom, Karan and his family went into hiding, not wanting to do anything with Mallika anymore.

Finally, members of her own family come forward to reveal what really went wrong. ‘Stardust’ meets her uncle Sushil Lamba in Mallika’s hometown Moth in Haryana, who says, “As their (Mallika and Karan) friendship started brewing, the lovebirds decided to marry soon. It was a love-cum- arranged marriage and everybody from both sides of the family were present there at the wedding. It was a grand reception in Delhi.

She always had a thought of becoming rich and famous. She married Gill because she was in love with him but married life wasn’t made for her. So, she decided to quit wedlock and lead an independent lifestyle. From her own parents to her in-laws, everybody was against her decision and as a result, she had a major argument with all of them.”

It is now clear that Mallika’s in-laws were totally against her joining films. As we have heard, her in-laws were not interested in sending their girl into films and they were completely against her late nights and parties. As a result, tension started brewing between Reema and Karan. This might be the reason for their break-up.

We also know about Mallika’s ex mother-in-law, Mrs G S Gill who makes no bones about her disapproval for her ex-bahu. When asked about Mallika, Gill says, “We don’t know anybody named Mallika. A few years back, we had a girl in our family called Reema Lamba. She was my daughter-in-law and we all loved her very much. But, afterwards, her behaviour and independent nature started creating problems for us.”

Mrs Gill explains that Mallika’s soaring ambitions to make it big in Bollywood is what caused problems for the family. They wanted a girl who was independent in her thoughts but at the same time, someone who understood the needs of the family also. But her dream was something different from what we expected. She wanted to have a career in the glamour industry.

Reportedly, Karan has got married again but does not want to be associated with Mallika in any way.

Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire stars and real-life couple Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have been spotted kissing during a romantic night out in Israel.

The actors, who played childhood sweethearts in Slumdog…, have frequently dismissed rumours that they are dating even after co-star Anil Kapoor hinted they were an item.

However, Patel recently jetted to Tel Aviv, Israel, to visit Pinto on the set of her new movie Miral, and the pair was later spotted enjoying a few tender moments during a romantic dinner.

I’m so relieved! Kajol’s sister Tanishaa is not dating monkey-faced Uday Chopra any more. Not like Tanishaa looks like a supermodel; but I just heard that she’s seeing some NRI guy from UK. Apparently he’s a rich businessman and I wont be surprised if he’s better looking than Mr. Monkey (Uday). Sorry but I just can’t refrain from calling him that!

We all know Priyanka Chopra was recently admitted in a hospital for her tummy infection. But not many are aware that the she has been put off from alcohol following her discharge. It is not just the doctors but her boyfriend Shahid Kapoor who seems to have imposed a NO DRINKS rule on her.

Though Priyanka cannot be called an alcoholic, she does enjoy a glass of wine or champagne occasionally that too only when she is with her closest friends. Shahid is a strict vegetarian and also a teetotaler and it is but natural that he expects his new girl friend to be the same.

This step with Priyanka has been taken by him because he was extremely worried when she got stomach infection as there was fear of it aggravating by having alcohol. It is not just alcohol, Shahid is also wanting Priyanka to go slow on work and take enough rest. How sweet, I need not say more…love is in the air!!!

After Aamir Khan’s obsessive look change according to the film he’s acting in, other actors are joining the “change-look-for-movie” bandwagon. Shabana Azmi for one has put on 25 kgs (woah!) for Gurinder Chadha’s next and Salman Khan as we all know has a fitter and bulkier look for Veer.

Its been ages since we’ve seen Sanjay Dutt having the same look for all his movies. But luckily, he’s given it a shot and tried something new. And so he’s now donned a funny moustache and probably borrowed good friend Govinda’s clothes to look like he’s never looked before. In fact, I think he looks pretty funny. This is for his new film Chatur Singh 2 Star where he plays the lead along with Ameesha Patel. I’m surely looking forward to watching this one!

Ranbir Kapoor who is shooting for Shimit Amin’s Rocket Singh, is giving it his all for the character he plays in the film wherein he plays a Sardar. He has been sitting at home since the past 3 weeks growing a full beard to suit the role. I’ve read that he’s also planned to chill at home till the beard fully grows because right now, it looks extremely scanty and funny.

He was to accompany his parents to Dubai for a short vacation too, but he canned them since he didn’t want anyone to see his new look. Does Deepika like the new look? Unfortunately, she was unavailable for comment. But I’m sure she’ll love Ranbir in any avataar! And afterall, getting the entire house to themselves is as good as a vacation, right? *winks*

Though there has been widespread speculation about the on/off relationship between Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia in recent months, the actress has now made it official.

It is learnt that Preity has sent an e-mail to her Kings XI Punjab team members stating that the Bombay Dyeing scion her business partner and her presently share only a cordial working relationship.

There has been a lot of buzz about their personal equation, Preity being extremely professional, felt it was important to clear the air. She owed it to her team members, so she sent an official mail to those associated with the team. Now there are no more hushed whispers when both Preity and Ness are around nor are people uncomfortable around them.

It is really mature of her to be so straight and clear cut about her personal and professional life.”
Apparently the actress does not want the Kings XI Punjab to be distracted by anything last of all with anything to do with her and Ness.
She only wants them to concentrate on the game, so she took upon the onus of making the facts known.

However sources close to the couple say that Ness and Preity are on a break, and have not broken up. They are taking time out to figure out if they can work out the differences.

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s career has begun just yet and he’s all set to go full monty for his upcoming flick Jail directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Now understanding that Madhur makes only realistic cinema, the film demanded this one particular bold scene in which Neil would go completely naked. Like Ranbir Kapoor did for Saawariya, Neil has obeyed the director and respected his decisions in making the film from his viewpoint.

This is what Neil had to say when he was interviewed recently:

Weren’t there inhibitions when you shot for a seemingly frontal nude scene in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail?
I was doing a realistic film. Before doing bold cinema, one does have certain inhibitions. I had to first understand the character graph. We are shooting the film in chronological order. Jail is about a subject that the common man isn’t exposed to. We didn’t want to show things that seemed artificial. My character is being frisked and it’s important to portray it as real as possible. I didn’t want to do it as part of any gimmick or as a publicity thing for the film. This scene forms the crux of the film. The humiliation of a convict when he is stripped, is akin to a man being raped. Madhur has shot it very nicely so that the viewers are not scandalized. As an actor, I don’t think any man should be inhibited. More than the shame of shooting such a scene, it was the trauma of the character that’s shameful. After getting comfortable with the surroundings, I was okay because I knew the scene was being well shot.

Prachi Desai, who stars opposite Tusshar Kapoor in “Life Partner”, was not comfortable doing intimate scenes with him and was too much into the “don’t touch me” mode.

Tusshar plays Prachi’s husband in the movie so it was near impossible for them to not have any intimate scenes.

Ultimately director Rumi Jaffrey suggested that Tusshar to establish a friendship with her off the camera.

This was during the very first schedule and a honeymoon sequence had to be shot.

Looking at Prachi’s discomfort, Rumi asked them to be at least friends off the camera as well.

He made them have some dinners together so that they could open up further with each other.

It’s all over between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and the couple has now decided to stay friends.

The couple has been having arguments for some time now but things came to a head about 20 days ago. The couple had a major fight over various issues the main one being Katrina’s growing closeness to her co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

Though their relationship has hit rough spots before, and they’ve taken a break from each other, it remains to be seen if this time the split is final.

Initially, Salman didn’t pay heed to the Kat-Ranbir rumours. Especially as the actress told him that the Kapoor boy had a crush on her and she wasn’t interested in him.

But stories carried back by the unit of (APKGK) from Ooty, confirmed his suspicions. When Salman confronted his girlfriend, she turned around and told him that she didn’t question him about his link-up with Asin, so had no business asking her about her friendship with her co-stars.

Salman (43) has been wanting to get married and have kids, while Katrina (24) feels she’s too young to be tied down. “The couple has had many arguments on this subject.

And they decided to call it quits for some time. Katrina, who has been staying in Salman’s Bandra apartment, shifted out to her own one (bought by Salman) on Waterfield Road. Two days ago Salman told his friends that he and Katrina were ‘just friends’.

Bachchan Junior and Aishwarya will be celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary on the 20th of April. Previously, they were to shoot for their film Raavan with director Mani Ratnam and probably wouldn’t get to celebrate their anniversary. But now since the director has been admitted in the hospital due to a heart attack, they might just get the day to themselves.

Currently, they are in Europe and the shooting has been halted till Mani Ratnam recovers. Lucky for them, they get to celebrate their anniversary and probably even give us good news soon? *winks*

The “Beedi Jalaile” girl Bipasha Basu is amongst the top favourites nowadays for any awards functions for performing to her hit dance numbers.

The Aa Dekhen Zara actress was all set to enthral the audience with her performance when she realized there was wardrobe malfunction. There was malfunction with her skirt and the prop that she was planning to use in the performance.

This malfunction happened not once but thrice. The actress did not know what to do at the last moment but despite all these problems Bipasha being a professional that she is did not let it hamper her performance.

She carried the entire show with grace and managed to enthral the audiences without giving a hint that she was upset with the costumes.

The buzz is that Sushmita Sen and her director boyfriend Muddassar Aziz have split. While shooting for his directorial debut film “Dulha Mil Gaya”, Sushmita took a liking for the young Muddassar.

The two subsequently were often spotted together. In fact, Sush even took him to meet her father in Kolkata.

Apparently, the trouble started when Muddassar frequently started talking to the media about Sushmita and their relationship. This irritated Sush and she started backing off from the relationship.

Muddassar, however, has denied the split.
Meanwhile, his “Dulha Mil Gaya” is showing no signs of completion after being in the making for three years.
