Mumbai-born tennis star Sania Mirza, 22, began a new innings in life on Friday with her engagement to her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza, 23, at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad.

Sania arrived at Hotel Taj Krishna in her black BMW wearing a gold-laced pink ghagra choli studded with diamonds. The dress had been designed by Shantanu-Nikhil and cost about Rs 20 lakh. It was a gift from her fiance.

Sohrab wore a white Armani suit with a special diamond broach which was a gift from Sania.

A 10-kg cake was specially made by Bakers Inn with Congrats Sania and Mohammed Sohrab written on top. The couple cut the cake after exchanging rings,

The marriage is a year-and-a-half away. In the interim, Sohrab plans to study for an MBA in England while Sania will chase tennis glory.

Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has turned to Ayurveda in an effort to end persisting knee pain after Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar told him to do so.

Akshay, who was working with the action star in Hindi film “Kambakkht Ishq”, bonded with him during a chat about on-set injuries and suggested Ayurveda when Stallone started talking about his persisting knee problem.
Akshay even provided the name of his favourite Ayurvedic practitioner.

Stallone appeared to be really interested in Ayurvedic treatment and asked for more details. He said he intends to spread the word about Ayurveda among his Hollywood comrades.

Amrita Arora, of late, has been missing from the B-Town circuit. She was only seen at the Kambakkht Ishq success party on Sunday night.

And earlier, at a restobar’s anniversary bash. On both occasions, she wore loose-fitting clothes. Of what we see she was spotted with a baby bump at these events. She also seems to have put on a certain amount of weight.

Not just that she was seen at a gynaecologist’s clinic a few days back. She was accompanied by hubby Shakeel Ladhak and her mom Joyce Arora.

The obvious inference would be that the actress who got married last year is in the family way. The actress visited Dr Nozer Sheriyar’s clinic at 14th Road, Khar.

He is a well-known gynaec and is attached to the Breach Candy hospital where most B-Town folk deliver their babies.
As both her husband and mother accompany her to the clinic, there is buzz that it is good news on her front.
In the last few months after her marriage in March, she has been keeping a low-profile and playing the role of the devoted wife at home.

Katrina had left the film because the director had made changes into the script after insistence of actor Imran Khan, with which she was not satisfied. They are also in talks with South actresses Asin and Genelia D’Souza for the same.
