The event was literally a Bachchan Sandhya where all the family members recited a poem from the book and dedicated it to Late Dr. Bachchan. The very talented Vidya Balan is all set to get abusive for her upcoming film, mouthing expletives for her role in “Ishqiya”. It so happens that this embarresed actress does not use foul language in real life. But her role in the film demanded her to go to the extent of using the slang’s. She further stated that when the film is out the use of abusive language will be justified.
Set in eastern Uttar Pradesh, “Ishqiya” is a tale of romance between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deceit. Directed by debutante Abhishek Chaubhey and produced by Vishal Bharadwaj, the film also stars Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah.

Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan’s much awaited ‘Kites’ is all set to make its mark on the world. Directed by Anurag Basu, starring Hrithik Roshan and the Mexican stunner Barbara Mori, the film has two versions Hindi and English. Brett Ratner, best known for the Rush Hour series, Family Man starring Nicholas Cage and X-Men The Last Stand is currently at work on the English version of Kites and tailoring it to appeal it to an international audience.

In the international markets ‘Kites’ will release with the English and Hindi version simultaneously where as in India, the film will release with the Hindi version. ‘Kites’ is expected to cut across national boundaries and sensibilities to achieve a universal appeal. The film will see the widest possible release, both at national and international level. The release dates will be announced soon. The Hindi version is complete and the producers are very happy with the outcome.

‘Kites’ is a love story with precious moments and unexpected betrayal crossing barriers, boundaries and cultures. Shot in Las Vegas, Mumbai, New Mexico and Los Angeles Kites also stars Kangana Ranaut, Nick Brown and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles with music composed by Rajesh Roshan.

Kareena Kapoor needs to be extra careful in sending sms to her beau Saifu. Recently at a press conference Bebo was caught sending a rude sms to Saif saying You are rude Saif, I am hurt. In turn Saif constantly started sending her messages and seeking apology for the wrong he has done. This personal SMSes between Saif and Bebo was captured by a news channel while Bebo was sitting and typing the SMS with a cup of coffee in her hand. The Camera went zooming into her personal text and captured it.

If super-hit film “Race” had lots of suspense and stunts, its producer Ramesh Taurani promises more thrills and action in its sequel “Race 2″ that will go on floors early next year with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor playing the main leads.
The sequel will be directed by Abbas-Mustan, who had made the 2007 hit “Race”, but Taurani is tight-lipped about the leading ladies and whether Kareena Kapoor would be signed on for the sequel.
“In February or March 2010 ‘Race 2′ will go on floors. The film will certainly be bigger and better than the first part. If you thought that the twists and turns in ‘Race’ were deadly, then watch out for the sequel.

The Katrina Kaif doll from Barbie had arrived in the city over a week ago, but the busy actress has not got a chance to see it yet as she has been traveling. She has been a part of the doll-making process though and the experience for her has been quite fascinating.
She stated that she was really looking forward to seeing it as soon as she gets back.

The doll has been designed in likeness of Kat from the “All Doll’d Up” show held earlier this year to mark the brand’s 50th birthday celebrations in India.

TV actress Tanaaz Currim who was recently voted out from Bigg Boss is furious with fashion designer Rohit Verma. She wants to go back and slap him. “Rohit has enraged me so much with his attitude and back-biting on the show that I really want to go back and slap him for ruining my name.” said Tanaaz.

At first Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar gelled very well with Rohit but later they turned foe. “I am amazed to know wat all he (Verma) said behind our backs. What is he? Who is he? He says he is a well known fashion designer, but he should see what he’s wearing. I’ll be obliged to know another person who wears Rohit Verma creations other then himself,” said Tanaaz.

“There is not one thing to like about him. What can i like about him?,” she added. Tanaaz desires to go back to the  show with a wildcard entry to put people in their places. “I am hopeful about re-entering the show through a wildcard entry so that I can teach  them  a lesson. They really need to put in their places,” she said.

A city court Wednesday ruled that film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar will stand trial for allegedly raping model-turned-actress Preeti Jain, five years after her complaint to the police. The next hearing is slated for Dec 22. On that day, Preeti Jain’s statement will be recorded. She will also be submitting details of threatening SMSes sent to her by Madhur, along with other evidence. The aspiring actress had in her complaint to the police in 2004 alleged that Bhandarkar and she had sex 16 times between 1999 and 2004. she further stated that he had promised to give her a role in his movie. However, he didn’t offer her a lead role in any of his movies. At times when she refused, he raped her. No one still knows if Madhur is a culprit or is just being pulled into this for the sake of revenge. But we only hope that a distinct film-maker like him is not proved guilty.
